Västra Frölunda IF offers a unique opportunity for children and youth aged 6 to 13 with mobility impairments to train football in a safe and inspiring environment. Our dedicated leaders tailor the training to meet the participants' needs, focusing on joy, community, and development. The training is suitable for children who can follow instructions in a group and have challenges with running, maintaining balance, or moving in uneven terrain. In addition to football training, this is a fantastic opportunity for parents to build networks and exchange experiences. Our activities not only enhance the participants' motor skills but also promote their social development and self-confidence.

Kids Haven longs for every child to be safe and well cared for. We help families to protect and care for their children in their own community. We provide full time care to 162 children in crisis without the protection and care of families. We extend support to young people growing into adulthood by caring about their career pathways, their independent living and their mental health. Kids Haven is in Benoni, east of Johannesburg.

Tiny Owls Baby Home is a registered non-profit in Durbanville, Western Cape. Since 2018, we have provided a safe, nurturing, and loving space for abandoned and relinquished babies awaiting adoption. Run by a small, dedicated team, the home cares for up to six babies at a time, offering 24/7 care, medical interventions, and emotional support. Babies come through social workers, often from heartbreaking circumstances. With over 69 babies nurtured so far, Tiny Owls relies on donations and the goodwill of corporates, volunteers, and community members to keep going.

PSFA is a registered South African non-profit organisation dedicated to combating child hunger in schools. Since 1958, PSFA has served over two billion nutritious meals to impoverished learners, improving their concentration, attendance, and academic performance. PSFA’s holistic school nutrition support programme ensures thousands of children receive the nourishment they need to thrive, reinforcing the fact that you can’t teach a hungry child. A donation of only R950 will enable PSFA to feed a child for a year, and R100 will feed a child for a month. Our goal is to ensure that 500 learners will receive 2 daily meals for a year (R950 X 500 learners).

HopeTown is based in Ocean View, Cape Town, South Africa. We are a youth-based community development NGO and reach out to the disadvantaged families in the community. We offer an internship programme centred around skills training for young people who have dropped out of school. We also reach out to about 130 kids in the community with dance, art, sports, tutoring and youth events. Our small high school offers Grade 7-9 and bridges a gap to enable vocational training. The products made in the internship programme are sold at our shop locally and also online. All the proceeds go back into the organisation's goal of educating and uplifting young people from difficult backgrounds.

Hearts of Hope is a children's home in Gauteng which cares for orphaned and vulnerable babies and children who are placed with us by court order after being removed from at risk situations. We provide nutrition, remedial and psycho-social support, education and medical care for all the children in our home. Our vision: Vulnerable and orphaned children who are in need of care and protection, are provided with a turning point opportunity of personal and individualised nurturing care in a safe and stable home environment that enables them to have a childhood, thrive and be educated; building their resilience and life skills within a forever home and towards an independent future.

The Bhabhisana Baby Project is a Cape Town-based non-profit delivering early childhood intervention services to babies with developmental delays and disabilities in underserved communities. Our holistic model integrates developmental therapy, caregiver training, and community partnerships to ensure early identification and support of these babies during the critical first thousand days. We employ a family-centred, interdisciplinary approach with each team consisting of a physiotherapist, occupational therapist, and speech and language therapist. They provide early therapeutic intervention and empower parents/ caregivers with the skills they need to help their baby reach their full potential.

As a Public Benefit Organisation, the Rohan Bloom Foundation is committed to building the first Specialised Paediatric Palliative Care In-Patient Hospice in Cape Town, Rohan House, offering the necessary palliative care as well as restoring dignity to the patient, whilst ensuring emotional and psychological support for the family. The Foundation aims to bring together the skills, resources and inspiration to create a blueprint for similar facilities across South Africa for terminally ill children and their families.

VUSA Rugby and Learning Academy gives children in Langa access to quality education, sport, daily meals, and psychosocial support. We help young learners from the under-resourced community of Langa, in Cape Town, grow in confidence, discover their talents, and build brighter futures.

Abraham Kriel Bambanani is a registered NPO providing care and skills development for traumatised children and youth in need, in the greater Johannesburg area. We provide shelter, physical care, rehabilitation and skills development for beneficiaries that had been subjected to trauma, abuse, molestation, poverty, neglect and unemployment. This is done via residential care, community services and educational programmes

Book Dash is a social impact publisher of open, African picture books for very young children. We work with creative volunteers to create and distribute high-quality books for preschool children to own at a fraction of traditional publishing costs. And we share our content and our model freely under an open licence, so people around the world can (and do!) use it for exponential impact.

To mobilise communities to start speaking about child abuse. To educate communities on what child abuse is, signs and symptoms and how to report it. To educate the public and children on reporting, highlight myths and facts of child abuse and to mobilise the community to start reporting.
